2013, February 18

The University of Texas New Music Ensemble, under the direction of Dan Welcher, will perform SPELLBOUND for large chamber ensemble on their February 18th concert. The concert will feature music by Ives, Corigliano, Gureckis, and Stravinsky.

2012, June-August

I have completed a six-week residency at Brevard Music Center! As a result, two works have been completed and premiered, and a major work has been started. Please check back soon to read about my time at Brevard. What an incredible summer it has been!

My new publisher, Ahlo Press, has been launched! Ahlo, registered with ASCAP, is my publishing name and engraving service. Please check it out, new features will be added soon.

2012, March 28

I have been selected to attend the Brevard Music Center College Composition Institute this summer—located just outside of Brevard, NC. At this festival, I will work closely with composition faculty through seminars and private lessons.

In residence, I create new works for performance including a large chamber ensemble work, several chamber ensemble pieces, and a song to be performed by singers from Brevard’s Janiec Opera Company.

2012, April 15

This fall, I will attend The University of Texas at Austin for graduate school. I will pursue a Master of Music in Composition degree at Butler School of Music.
